Brief History

BABBA Microfinance Bank was incorporated on 21st July 2009 by the Coroperate Affairs Commission (CAC) and licensed by the CEntral Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The bank was incorporated on 21 July 2009 by the corporate affairs commission and licensed by the central bank of Nigeria on 02 September 2010. The bank is located in Agaie main town of Agaie Local Government and offers banking & financial services The bank metamorphosed from Babba cooperative to Babba microfinance bank in the year 2009

Objectives

  • Loan Portfolio Growth:Achieve a 15% increase in the microfinance loan portfolio within the next two years to support more rural entrepreneurs and households.
  • Financial Literacy Workshops:Conduct monthly financial literacy workshops in collaboration with local schools and community centers, reaching at least 200 individuals per workshop.
  • Community Investment:Allocate 5% of annual profits towards community development projects, with a focus on initiatives that enhance education, healthcare, and basic infrastructure.
